A blood sugar chart is a graphical display of how the blood sugar of a particular person changed with respect to time.

It can be used by two groups of people:

  • Doctors
They are mainly interested in them to see how their patients’ diabetes sugar level is progressing. They can use them mainly to determine the correct dosage level of whatever medication their patients are taking.
  • Diabetics
These are mainly interested in them to help them make decisions based on how their sugar level is right now and how it reacted in the past to similar conditions in regard to how much medication (weather insulin or pills) they need to take right now.

Blood sugar charts can be made by a variatey of different means, from pencil to spreadsheets to specialized dabetes software.
